The AQF is Australia’s national system for regulated qualifications, integrating qualifications from schools, vocational training, and higher education into a single framework. Developed by the Australian Government in consultation with states and territories, it facilitates pathways to formal qualifications and supports quality assurance in education. The AQF spans 10 levels, from certificate level one to doctoral level ten, with levels five to ten representing higher education awards.
